There are 6 public universities apart from numerous private education provides who provide superior quality of education mostly by collaborating renowned universities from the US, UK and Australia.

Students can enroll in Singapore universities for undergraduate, master’s and PhD programs. Medium of instruction in all the universities (private or public) is English only. While for undergraduate programs, TOEFL or IELTS may not be compulsory but for Mater’s or PhD programs university prefer TOEFL or IELTS score apart from GRE and GMAT score for different courses apart from experience for courses like MBA.

Admissions Process for Australian Universities

Step 1 – Knowing about you

Fill your details in our student enquiry form Details include your academic qualifications, IELTS and TOEFL score, work experience (if any), financial status, career goals, life interests and aspirations. This helps us to know you and your actual requirement.

Step 2 - University & Program Selection

Shortlisting 3-4 universities and course that match your profile and requirement.

Step 3 – Documents for admission

We ensure that your documents including mark sheets, essays, statement of purpose, recommendation letters, and resume are ready to sending to the universities.

Step 4 - Application submission

We guide you in filling the University application form carefully without any mistakes. Now we send the application form and documents to the chosen universities.

Step 5 - University interview

Some universities prefer to interview applicants prior to the admission. If so, we prepare you for this so you can confidently answer the universities officials.

Step 6 – Receiving offer letter

You may receive an admission offer letter from the universities within 2-4 weeks of application submission. It can be longer depending upon the university and program of study you choose.

Getting Singapore Student Visa

You need to apply for a Student PAss so you can stay in Singapore to study in a recognized university or college and do part time works.

Key requirements for student visa:

  • Admission letter from a recognized university or college from Singapore
  • Valid passport alongwith a copy of the particulars page.
  • You get the Disembarkation/Embarkation card once entered into Singapore country.
  • One recent colour passport-sized photograph. The photograph should have a white background.
  • The eForm 16 printout submitted through SOLAR;
  • A copy of the IPA letter; and
  • A medical report in the format available available on ICA’s website.
 

Generally It takes 10 working days to process the student pass for students. You receive your student Pass issued by the ICA via your university only. The visa for students, who require it, is attached to the IPA. It is your primary duty to report to the Student’s Pass Unit for completion of further formalities.

The current processing fee for a Student’s Pass is S$30. However, applicants are also required to file an additional S$60 for issuance of the Pass.
